Psychology
Within Psychology, we are committed to the discovery of knowledge about the mind, brain and behaviour; increasing people’s understanding of themselves and others and to the use of such knowledge to improve the condition of individuals, organisations and society. Through a carefully planned and well-delivered curriculum, we enable students to develop as critical thinkers, able to interrogate evidence and form independent conclusions. In Psychology, we want to develop scientifically literate citizens who are able to consider and discuss a wide range of perspectives about the human mind and behaviour to help better understand relationships and to have a positive contribution to the wider community.
