Welcome toBishop Justus Church of England School
Mr Barry Blakelock
Headteacher Choosing the right school for your child matters. You want a place where they will feel safe, work hard, develop their potential and grow in confidence. That is what we aim to provide every day.
At Bishop Justus, every young person is known and valued. We set high expectations. We believe every pupil can flourish and achieve strongly with the right support, effort and guidance. We are ambitious for our students and determined that they leave us with results they are proud of and the confidence to take their next steps
Our six values — Courage, Wisdom, Kindness, Hope, Faith and Love — shape daily life in our school. We speak about them often. We practise them every day. They guide how we behave, how we learn and how we treat one another. They help us try again when work feels difficult, make wise choices and treat people well.
We are proud of our Christian foundation. It reminds us that every person matters and every person belongs. We are also a diverse and welcoming community. We celebrate difference. We value contribution. We expect the best from one another.

Aquinas
Church of England Education Trust
At Aquinas, we work together so that our learners have an exceptional education; one where individuality is celebrated, talents are nurtured and progress is sustained from early years to Post 16.
Established in 2013, the Trust was founded as a natural development of positive relationships built between neighbouring Church of England schools; initially in the Bromley area. In November 2018, we added two community schools to our family, Rye College and Rye Community Primary School and in March 2025 a further community school, Robertsbridge Community College, joined the Trust; these three schools are based in East Sussex.
