Religious Studies

Religious Studies is essential to our curriculum and in helping to develop outward and inward thinking individuals who are willing to think deeply about their views and share them with each other.  Religious Studies encompasses substantive and deeply analytical knowledge, including Christianity and Islam in greatest detail although all world views are studied, considered and respected.  A broad and diverse variety of views are reflected upon to enhance personal knowledge and learn through ways of knowing.  Study includes ethical questioning and philosophical inquiry, both of which prepare students for higher academic study and equip them with the skills needed for intellectual conversations and debates, cultivating reflective individuals who are able to contribute to their communities now and in the future.

Religious Studies seeks to develop outward and inward thinking individuals who are willing to think deeply about their views and share them with each other. Through this we aspire to cultivate reflective individuals who are able to contribute to their communities now and in the future.
